Studying light means more than measuring how much and from what direction.
Learning about light means to explore how it originates and how it reacts with the surfaces from which it reflects. It means learning how it color, diffusion, and tone effect your photos
Knowing how light will change how someone reacts to your photograph is one of the final steps a good photographer takes in becoming a great photographer.
A great photographer always watches the light, studying how it moves, how it falls on the subject, and how best to use its dynamics to modify the result of every shutter release.
You’ll step away from this class with a better understanding of light and its role in making you a great photographer.
There are two versions of this class. One is for Point & Shoot photographers. The other is for Digital SLR photographers. Portions of the classes are significantly different because of the cameras. Make sure you sign up for the proper class.
