Among my collection of equipment is a group of cameras that still use film. I call myself a digital photographer yet still shoot film when necessary.
That time is rare except when I want to have a little fun using my toy cameras.
Among the collection is a Holga, a Diana, several Lomos, and a few Ebay finds that rival the best of today’s China manufactured toys. In fact, a few are better than what’s on the market today and can cost as little as a few dollar, plus shipping.
We’ll get to play with some of these cameras and see the quality of their results.
Might even get to play with the Holgaroid.
Photographers in this class will each receive a Holga 120N camera, three rolls of film, materials to modify the camera so it it works better, and instructions on how best to use the camera.
We’ll shoot with the camera, after we’ve made them workable, in a Holga PhotoWalk and Workshop.
If you’re “into the art of photography” this is the class you need.
